Soulicious - Vet's Club - Oct 11, 9:30pm
GLBT Movie Night - The Damned - Oct 16, 7:30pm
October 16, 2008-7:30 PM
The Damned (1969; Italy/West Germany; 155 minutes)
Helmed by legendary director Luchino Visconti, The Damned is an allegorical film that parallels the rise and fall of Hitler's Third Reich. The Essenbeck family runs the German steel industry and attempts to gain favor (and maintain its lucrative contracts) by appeasing the Nazis. But infighting occurs as the elder Essenbeck's children battle for control of the company. Stars Dirk Bogarde, Helmut Berger, Helmut Griem and Ingrid Thulin.
Host and Location: James Wilson (337-7757) 2299 Donovan Dr., Eugene.
Directions: The easiest way for most will be to come up or down Coburg Road and turn onto Oakway Road. Take Oakway up to Cal Young Road (where Oakway dead ends) and turn left onto Cal Young. Go down two stop lights to Norkenzie. Turn right onto Norkenzie and take it up to the last right hand turn (before you go up over Beltline Road). That is Donovan Drive! Turn right onto Donovan (avoid the first two roads off of Donovan) and you will keep to the left and come back into a cul-de-sac where you will find a big two-story white house with brick front and green shutters. That is James' house. If for some reason you get lost call James at 337-7757! Parking: Please don't park in front or behind any of the other residents' cars or on the lawn. There is plenty of other parking. It's a large lot.

Cornucopia - Ice Cream Social & Silent Auction - Oct 18, 7pm
Vote Equality: Fair Minded Oregonians, Right Wing - Oct 20
Right-wing activists are at it again,
targeting vulnerable Oregonians through
