SASS has an array of different events coming up. We need people to help us advertise by hanging up flyers & posters for our events. For more information give us a call!

PRIDE, an event that celebrates LGBTQI diversity and brings awareness to the greater community, will be happening in August, here in Eugene. SASS Engaging Change will be there to talk about QUEER SEX! We need volunteers who want to shine for the LGBTQI community. We’ll need people who are willing to pass out Engaging Change information at the SASS booth, as well as volunteers with a flair for acting!
This year at PRIDE we will be performing a small skit on the main stage, followed by an educational forum on the small stage, which will also include a QUEER Speak Out against sexual violence. At the SASS booth we will feature art work by artists in the LGBTQI community.
There is a lot to prepare for, and many volunteers needed to make this event as exciting as it can be! If you want to get involved, or to submit artwork, call 484-9791 ext 318

This collage’ will be a collaboration of photos, stories, poetry, artwork, and other memoirs contributed by the Trans community. SASS and Engaging Change will use the collage ’as an educational tool at community events, and trainings to raise awareness about the unique experiences and concerns of the Trans community. We hope to have it complete by August, just in time for the Eugene PRIDE Celebration!
